Menominee County Great Start Initiative
The Great Start Initiative in Menominee County- Is a positive movement for our community to work together helping our young children, birth to age five, succeed in school and life.
Why do we need this initiative, and how can Great Start help in our community?
Great Start is designed to ensure that all Michigan children arrive at school safe, healthy and eager to succeed in school and in life. The Great Start System is a single network of public and private services; and support working together-collaborating in a community to accomplish better results for young children and their families.
- Why is this initiative so important? Because children in our community deserve to reach their fullest potential. If we are unable to provide our children the means to a Great Start, the value to our future workforce, society and our education system will be diminished.
- WHAT WE DO NOW IS EXTREMELY CRUCIAL TO OUR COMMUNITY'S FUTURE GENERATION.
- How can Great Start help in our community? The purpose of the Great Start System is collaboration-working as a team. The Great Start Collaborative is composed of parents and community leaders working together to accomplish better results for young children and their families.
