We provide individual, family and couple counseling for children, adolescents and adults.  Wraparound services for families in danger of losing a child to abuse or neglect are also provided as well as foster care, adoption and other specialized services to families across the U.P.  We are a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-discriminating agency which seeks to strengthen families by providing quality social service programs that empower individuals with skills to care for themselves and others.

MSU Extension's Children, Youth and Family Programs offer educational opportunities designed to meet the needs of people of all stages of the life cycle including ages 0-5. Through informal educational experiences built on research and knowledge of Michigan State University, families can find resources for supporting the positive growth and development of their children. MSU Extension of Menominee County offers a library of resources including books, tapes, and videos on multiple parenting and child development topics. The public is welcome to check out any of these materials by calling the MSU Extension Office of Menominee County at: 906.753.2209. MSUE offers the SNAP-ED program.

U.P. 2-1-1 Call Center
The U.P. 2-1-1 Call Center is the U.P.'s Community and Human Resource Connection.  2-1-1 is an easy to remeber telephone number that connects people with important community services and volunteer opportunities.  2-1-1 provides information and assistance for over 6,000 services in the U.P. such as: after-school programs, child care, Long-Term Care options, disability resources, employment resources, rent/utility assistance, senior services, housing, transportation, and many more!  2-1-1 is FREE, confidential and available 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year.
